Supporting Children through Mentoring & Behavioral Counseling
Personalized Guidance
At Thaise Educational & Exposure Tours, Inc., Mentoring & Behavioral Counseling is a cornerstone service designed specifically for at-risk youth. We recognize that everyone who comes to us has unique challenges, strengths, and goals. Our approach centers on personalized instruction, tailoring our teaching methods to each participant’s personal experiences and potential obstacles, laying a strong foundation for future growth.
This client-mentoring relationship is intentionally developed, with our case managers also serving as mentors. This dual role allows them to provide holistic support, addressing both the emotional and behavioral aspects of the participants’ lives, as well as their practical needs. Through this comprehensive support, we aim to empower youth to take control of their lives, make sound decisions, and successfully reach their goals.

Planned Support
Our program is designed to provide consistent, reliable support over a three-month period, featuring weekly mentoring sessions. These sessions create a safe space for youth to discuss their challenges, explore solutions, and set goals for their personal and academic development. The regularity of these sessions ensures ongoing support and accountability, which is crucial for sustained progress.
Additionally, we incorporate monthly family counseling into our program. Engaging the family is essential to the success of our mentoring efforts, as family dynamics often play a significant role in a young person’s behavior and outlook. By involving the family in the counseling process, we aim to strengthen these relationships and foster a more supportive home environment. This holistic approach helps to ensure that the progress made in mentoring is reinforced and sustained by the family, leading to more lasting and meaningful outcomes.
Family Involvement
Family involvement is a crucial element of our Mentoring & Behavioral Counseling program. We recognize that the home support system plays a significant role in the success of the mentoring process. Our monthly family counseling sessions are designed to encourage open communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen relationships within the family.
In these sessions, our case managers collaborate with the entire family to address issues that may impact the participant’s behavior or emotional well-being. By creating a space for honest dialogue and mutual understanding, we help families support their child’s progress and reinforce positive changes. This collaborative approach ensures that youth feel supported both within the mentoring program and at home, fostering a more stable and nurturing environment for their development.
Our Mentoring & Behavioral Counseling program goes beyond addressing immediate challenges; it aims to build a foundation for long-term success. Through personalized guidance, structured support, and active family involvement, we empower young people to overcome obstacles, build self-confidence, and reach their full potential.
